Half Life Battery - Vacuum Cleaner Parts & Accessories

Bought this for my Shark cordless vacuum because it was half the price of the Shark brand. But it also only lasts half the life of the Shark's battery. Couldn't vacuum my entire living space (open concept, LR, kitch, DR in one) in one vacuum without having to charge in time. With the Shark battery I could have vacuumed those rooms about 2.5 times before needing to recharge. money wasted.

Pros
  • Expensive but decent
Cons
  • Very expensive

Cheap easy fix, good for batteries

I didn't understand why my vacuum wasn't charging, took it apart and cleaned it thoroughly. I then came to the crossroads of buying a new vacuum for over $100 or buying a replacement battery. I was so glad I bought a very affordable battery and my husband installed it for me and it works like a charm. Before purchasing this item, be sure to check the instruction manual to make sure it fits.

  • Certified

  • Bad instructions

Dying just vacuuming and floor cleaning

My original battery lasted 2+ years with 15-20 minutes of use before needing a charge. I always used it until it was dead and then let it charge as suggested. This Ruzist replacement gave me 12-15 minutes of use the first few times which was hardly acceptable but the time quickly dropped to 6 minutes after a month and is now 4 minutes. I'm not sure if I should try a different brand of spare battery or throw the Shark away.

  • Hands-free operation

Battery empty after 7 minutes of use

I have bought these replacement batteries for my Shark Navigator several times. Normally I can vacuum my 2100 sqm. feet and still have enough charge. My last purchase of this battery didn't work either. I can only use about 7 minutes on a full charge. This is unacceptable. Usually I use the battery less than 2 years. Nothing wrong with the vacuum cleaner, so I just replaced the battery.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Some little things

TO UPDATE. Doesn't hold the same charge as the original battery

Update - just a few weeks into my initial check the battery only lasted about half the time it had a few weeks ago. Very annoying! DO NOT BUY THIS BATTERY! Initial Rating - Like - Easy enough to install if you pay attention to how your current battery is installed when you remove it. Dislikes - only sucks 2 times and no longer holds charge long enough to suck my whole house like the original Shark battery. A full charge takes several hours.

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • Zero

The general disappointment

I love my Shark Stick vacuum cleaner so when the battery finally died after 3 years I was hoping to get another battery to breathe new life into it. The battery that Shark is offering costs $59.99, which doesn't make much sense since I bought the vacuum at the Revain Black Friday sale for $99.99. So I tried this battery. The vacuum has the same suction power as the new one but only lasts 15 minutes while the old battery gave me 25-30 minutes of use. This is a big disappointment as I have furry…

Better than throwing it away Shark

That's about a third the cost of an OEM replacement battery, so it's a cheap stopgap solution. We bought the Shark from Bed Bath & Beyond for about $100 and the original battery lasted great for about a year. Then life got shorter and shorter. Changing the battery costs almost as much as we paid for the vacuum cleaner, so. But so far this battery is running at about 75% of the original battery, which isn't great, but it's better than throwing the Shark away. The battery will probably run out…

Pros
  • Wide range
Cons
  • Useless features

Bought 2, one has great battery life, the other not so good

My wife loves her Shark battery vacuums and uses them all the time. It has several units, so one is always at hand. They work fine for 5 years but the batteries lose their original performance so I ordered one of these batteries. It worked great. Looked the same as the original but when the second vacuum's battery started dying I ordered a second replacement as before but this one has about 1/3 the battery life of the previous replacement. Whether you order one or this one, you just don't know…

  • Little things

Battery arrived on time no problems digging. The original battery was replaced because the runtime was reduced from 15 minutes to 11 minutes. That was after 14 months of use. The new one initially took about 14 minutes but by the end of the month it was down to 8 minutes, I couldn't finish the bedroom. I switched back to the original battery. Ruzixt really tried to solve my problem, they sent me a new battery for free. This battery only lasted 8 minutes from the first charge. I have a second…
