It's a lot better than trying to keep an RV box running with products from a big home center. They were identical to the ones we had in Winnebago View. I bought more than one in case the other one breaks on our 10 year old RV.

I installed this on a pot and pan slide in my RV to replace the original latch which broke. The new latch kept the drawer snugly shut while we were out. Unfortunately, after a year of use, the locking lever inside the frame part broke and now has to be replaced again.

Well made and functional but 10 pounds of pull is a lot less than I thought! I used for 2 drawers that I added under the seats in the dining area in our caravan. They measure 39"D x 18"W x 11"H and hold about 50 pounds of goods on good ball bearings. Most of the time the clasps are fine, but I have to put a lock on the travel drawers because they wiggle on the freeway, one of the boxes unrolled, the latch didn't hold.

This fits the screw holes in my Airstream pantry door, I didn't even have to drill new holes. The old one is cracked at the bottom, maybe my door isn't aligned properly. Adjusted the hinges, maybe this won't break. The clasp is made of plastic like the original. The lock is holding the door. I think it will store the contents of the pantry while we travel. The old one did and it broke. Time will tell if it holds up, but it was cheap so not a huge investment.

Original latch has failed over time. First the box kept opening on sharp left turns, then finally when the Autobahn had a gradual left turn. Granted, the drawer held most of our pots and pans, but it wasn't cluttered, just heavier than paper plates. I decided to replace it when it just didn't hold up anymore. This one nailed it and holds up much better than the original hardware even when brand new. Now we can drive on the road and be sure that our stuff won't be on the ground when we stop…
