Comes with cancer warning label.

Not only were they too small and cheap, but the packaging had a very clear cancer and reproductive harm label on top. I'm afraid to touch this thing! Is this why cancer rates are rising? Can't they make products without cancer-causing chemicals?

Pros
  • Pretty impressive
Cons
  • No effect

Does the job! at Furniture Parts & Hardware

These plastic screw caps work as advertised. Insert the screw through the translucent base, tighten the screw into the material, and then snap the white cover on top. The white dome cover extends approximately 1/4 inch above the screw. The translucent base fits most screws up to #10 size. Not much room to snap the cover onto the metal head of the pan head screw.

Pros
  • A pleasure to use
Cons
  • Vulgarity

I knew better than to use countersunk screws, but I did.

Do not use countersunk screws! I knew better than to use countersunk screws, but I did it anyway and paid the price. When I tried to remove the cover to get at the screw everything came loose. It's a simple, cheap and stylish way to cover screws for outdoor work. I used them on a PVC walkway I built to hide the pipes and wires on the side of the church. I got a lot of compliments on how well I hid the screws. Just use a large head pan head screw and you're good to go.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Zero

Works great with stainless steel countersunk screws. Used in bathroom

In short I have an old bathroom and a bathtub all around. This is a 4 piece bathtub. We use a 3 piece bathroom set. The middle end molding never wanted to stay as tight as I would have liked. Over time, the coin will break and become detached. I've always used screws of any kind to hold the bezel in place, but they were ugly. I bought new stainless steel pan head screws because they don't rust and so do these caps. They worked great! Before inserting the screw into the back, I put a strip of…
