The lines in the molded plug are not connected to the standard 7-wire trailer plug. The installation took longer because the cables were not up to standard. seems good (time will tell) but the frustration of having to check each wire to see where it goes in the connector makes this a 2 star product for me.

I was able to easily connect all the light bulbs in my trailer with this junction box. It's waterproof and you can easily color-code all your cables and add more with O-ring end connectors. It even comes with self-tapping screws to attach to your trailer. makes it easy to add more lights or even reversing lights to your trailer

Everything about this kit appeared to be of very good quality until I started installing it. I used this with a service trailer and completely rewired the entire trailer. The only problem I had was that the color coding was wrong. This is easy to fix if you have a multimeter to check for continuity. All other parts of this kit felt "heavy duty", hope they last.

This 7 way trailer kit is great value for money, 8 foot cable, pre-wired junction box and trailer switch are included. The attached schematic and all self-tapping screws are the icing on the cake. Of course, time will tell how this cable holds up with extended use, but if fit and finish is any measure of this company's quality control, I don't expect any problems for some time. It was very easy to install, I want to take a before and after photo to show how well it got rid of a rat's nest I had under a 5 wheel RV, that I recently bought.
