I really don't like it.

It uses a unique blade that can work with nuts and chocolate but struggles with something like ginger. If I use it regularly I don't think it would last long. Too much plastic. I've had a hard time judging these things online. If I get something like this, I think it's better to see it up close.

Bad in every way

It doesn't really scratch, but shaves off small pieces. That is, until it stops working. You have to press the top with your thumb and it's really uncomfortable. In the end he didn't have enough strength to push the cheese through and he broke my hand. I wouldn't say it's the worst product I've ever bought, but it's definitely in the top 10.

It didn't rub. suitable for grating

Terrible, I didn't believe my wife and in the end I had to throw it away and buy another model. I didn't grate it, just pureed it a bit. I'm 6ft 200lbs and I had to push myself so hard my thumbs hurt and even then it didn't work. It may work better with VERY dry cheese, which is drier than parmigiano cheese.

A beautifully designed grater, but almost useless - a return to the old-fashioned flat grater

. The "gear" in this grater rotates the metal cylinder so slowly that you exercise every time you grate hard cheese. You have to do many, many spins to get enough grated cheese. I'm going back to the old fashioned flat grater which is much faster and also easier to use and clean.
