Description of ๐Ÿ’ง SABRE Eye Wash Adapter: Addressing Contaminants Effectively

SABRE'S Eye Wash Adapter provides a simple solution to turn most water bottles into an eye wash device. Insert eye wash adapter into water bottle and twist eye wash adapter onto bottle to create a tight seal. Gently squeeze to create a fountain of water to help flush contaminants from eye. An ideal addition to any first aid kit! It's a must-have for use during aerosol projector training. Eye Wash Adapter works best on water bottles with 3 or more threads. Most brand name water bottles have 3 or more threads (Dasani, Evian, Smart Water, Aquafina, Propel, Etc.).

It is better to use a regular eyecup and water.

I was very, very excited about the idea of this product. As a paramedic working on-site in remote areas and with film crews constantly setting up and tearing down sets, the idea of using any water bottle to wash your eyes was amazing. does not work as well as a regular eyecup or eyewash. No matter what water bottle you use, the seal is never good enough. And even with a better seal, the opening at the top is too large to help with essential functions like holding the eyelids open to flush theโ€ฆ

Pros
  • The eye wash adapter works best with water bottles with 3 or more threads. Most major brand water bottles have 3 or more threads (Dasani, Evian, Smart Water, Aquafina, Propel etc.)
Cons
  • Available in black only

Almost perfect, but better than nothing!

Okay, it's not perfect, and like me you will read, it's a soft rubber gasket where the 'universal' water bottle thread goes located . They should be more open and show that part. It doesn't screw on tightly like a bottle cap. Remember what you're using it for, that "Oh shoot!" moment, I've got something in my eye and I need it now! My kids get things in their eyes and cry! One hand on the water bottle and the other on the neck! The harder you press, the more water is washed out. I did a wet run

Pros
  • Squeeze gently to create a fountain of water to flush debris out of eyes
Cons
  • Has been damaged

Good Product: Eyewash Devices

I have read reviews that say it doesn't fit the water bottle. This applies IF you remove the cap from a standard water bottle and then attempt to screw this product on. It will be too big for a standard water bottle thread. I knew that and ordered the product anyway. I knew there would be a way to make it work if it was too big, which it is. What I did was unscrew the plastic cap of a standard water bottle and cut or drill a hole in the center of the cap. I then screwed the drilled cap onto the

Pros
  • Insert the eyewash adapter into the water bottle and screw the eyewash adapter onto the bottle to create a tight fit
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled
