I bought this adapter because my laptop didn't have built-in Bluetooth; it came with an installation CD (most new USB-powered peripherals are PNP, but I digress); I installed the drivers that were on the CD; he went on to say that he did not recognize him; I tried all 3 USB ports on my laptop and it finally recognized it on the 3rd USB port and the small pinhole sized activity light comes on. I'm fairly tech savvy and didn't usually find many things I couldn't handle. This USB stick is useless in my opinion. Here are some of the problems: 1) Not compatible with USB 3.0 (I see some problems didn't appear, but I've attached screenshots of my problem) and my PC only has USB 3.0 ports (no USB 2.0 ports) me actually plugged it in a couple of times but the sound cut out until I restarted my devices. 3) It was a nightmare installing drivers and connecting devices (yes I rebooted).
