Sabrent Internal Drive Mounting BK HDDH Review

As mentioned in other reviews, this adapter does not solve the problem many of us have when we want to connect a 2.5" drive the way 3.5" drives do do. That is, with a shift to the side. The two SATA cables I received did not have flat ends. One was but the other had a 90 degree end which I couldn't use on the HDD or mobo side. I knew I was getting two flat ends, but I'm not. Found out just by fiddling, if you put thermal pads (I think I used 1.5mm) between the SSD (don't cover the holes) and the mounting tray it will drop about 2c. from your pace.
