Great looking rug but we believe it came from a flea camp as it was the first time our house cat had fleas in 14 years. 2 days after this carpet was rolled out!

It came completely wrapped in plastic, protected from the rain, thank God it was on our doorstep. It's very heavy, wonderfully plush! The fabric is neither too tight nor too loose. It also has a bit of beige throughout the white to add texture and keep it from going so starkly white.

We have never had a flea problem but after ordering this cloth we had a serious flea infestation in this cloth. This is where we spent most of our time, especially my 2 month old granddaughter. Fleas bite all legs and not sure if the rag we received was old or a customer return but there are fleas on the rags

After looking at this rug for too long I finally bought it. Ordered on Wednesday and surprisingly it didn't arrive until two days later! It opened up and didn't take time to flatten out, it was perfect right away. Without smell. Very soft on bare feet. I might want to soften it even more and put a rug underneath. Ok I wanted to love this rug it was great quality and beautiful but as soon as I rolled it out in my bedroom my feet, ankles and legs started getting bitten by bugs. . At first I couldn't understand it. I went on vacation and as soon as I got home I was bitten again. I have all wood floors and am very clean and have never had this problem. The biting continued and as I started inspecting the carpet I saw tiny bugs jumping around on the carpet. I don't have pets, these bugs came with the carpet.

You see all these expensive, fancy branded rugs (although Safaviye is a brand name - it's an exception), hundreds of rugs if you want a larger size. They are beautiful but personally I wanted the rug to be SOFT, CUSHIONED, COMFORTABLE and almost look spectacular. It was cheap, affordable and the quality didn't match the price. With carpets.
