Three stars only for a neutral rating. I can't stand the smell and texture of the gate material. Is it toxic if chewed and swallowed? I also thought it would be more transparent. Nothing I would use inside and don't need outside.

Good quality Baby Gate. The mesh material is durable and scratch-resistant. It offers two ways to install with glue or screws. It comes with installation instructions. It's the perfect height to keep my little one out of the kitchen. But you need to manually roll up the goal net when not in use.

I had high hopes that this mesh screen would be used in our camper van so the pup wouldn't run out the door every time it was opened, but it's not strong enough for that to leave us . I have a medium sized dog and he can easily squeeze through this gate. This might be the perfect solution for small dogs, but I don't recommend it for medium to large dogs or dogs excited enough to break through.

This is a very strong gate, fairly easy to assemble and comes with detailed installation instructions for screws and glue. However, this doesn't work for me because I have a baseboard that leaves a small gap where the baseboard is. This would be fine for both small and large dogs, but I have a 4 pound chihuahua that can fit in any small gap so it didn't work for me. This is by no means the fault of the product. The only thing to note is that the gate needs to be rolled up as it doesn't retract.

If you have a pitch that's perfect for a goal then this works decently. but a bit flexible and uncomfortable. The lower part fits into the container, which is not easy to do with one hand while holding the baby, although of course you could do it more carefully after putting the baby down. They're just more difficult to manage than most retractable gates and only cost $45 for a decent entry gate. So you'll save some money on this kit if it's the right size. but the only instructions you get are

Did not read the description carefully before ordering. Unfortunately, the kit is not suitable for my application. I wanted something that would be easy to install and not have to worry about damaging the doorway. While this kit looks solid enough, it's attached with either screws or sticky clips that look like they'll damage my plaster casts. I am not new to the baby or pet gate situation as it somehow connects to the area to keep everyone safe and secure or to make life that little bit easier. It's not retractable and I would only order it if you keep it closed all the time otherwise it will bother you. You can step over it if you're not very small, but if you're constantly pacing in and out of a room or carrying a baby around, it won't work.
