Great pens and colors that everyone should have.

Great pens and paints for anyone who draws lines and patterns like zentangles. I've tried cheaper alternatives recently and they don't work as well as these Pigma Microns from Sakura. These handles will not leak or spread. They keep their color. Other pens look brilliant when you first draw a line, but the color fades as the ink dries. The pigment content of these pencils cannot be compared to other brands. From now on it's only Sakura for me!

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Sad packaging

Writes fluently and does not spread across the pages

Writes well. Colors are muted and most are unrecognizable once the ink has dried. I was expecting black, but dark blue is almost black. This was my first purchase of a Pigma Micron pen and I will be buying Microns again for smooth writing. They don't seep through my diary bible. The only thing I didn't like about them is that the ridge where the cap connects to the body of the pen is right where it sits on my writing middle finger. There will be corn.

Pros
  • High-quality assembly
Cons
  • Can be retrofitted

Good price good product

I bought these for tangles and doodles and they are great. Sakura pens are of excellent quality and these are no different. The Heritage/Earth colors in this group are very nice (dark brown, true blue, reddish clay brown, dark green, navy blue and almost spring green) and I would definitely recommend them. The ink matches the color of the pen and flows smoothly onto the paper. They are good for detail work, although not the smallest possible. They have a good price and the delivery was quicker…

Great journaling pens (and coloring too)

These are my favorite journaling pens. They write very smoothly without requiring much pressure and they don't bleed or leave ink stains (which I hate to say). I used to only use black ink but thought I wanted to change it up so I ordered this color set and LOVE THEM! Last week I noticed that I tend to choose different colors depending on how I'm feeling or what I'm writing in my journal. When my pens run out of ink I will definitely buy more. An added bonus is that I also use them in my…

Micron Heritage Earth Set

The set includes the following colors; Sepia, royal blue, burgundy, hunter green, blue black and fresh green. These are really fantastic crayons. I love them and they are great and all but my only complaint is that the blue and black pen seems to bleed a bit. It's fine if you use them for writing, but I got terribly frustrated when part of my drawing was blurry due to ink bleed. However, I've never had a micron, so it could have been a faulty pin or a specific color. All other colors seem to…

Love for Colored Zentangles

I started out with black and white zentangles like most people, but since I started using colored pencils my tiles have taken on a whole new dimension. Ink flow is perfect, doesn't smear or jump, so I always get straight lines. The color is vibrant and even after it dries it looks as good as if it's first hitting the tile or scrap paper I'm painting on. I love Sakura pens and have tried other brands which have never been as nice and smooth as Pigma Micron pens. I really can't recommend using…

Great colours, very good pens

I am very happy with this purchase. The pens are great for writing and drawing. Size 05 is good but strong enough to stand out on the side. Smooth smooth soft colors. You are wonderful! (I just left a negative review on another Pigma Micron Sakura 50011 11-Piece Zentangle Clamshell Pencil Set that I also ordered. These pencils were dry and unsatisfactory - this set provided a good comparison of how smooth sizing should be. 05. I probably wouldn't feel entitled to leave this review if I didn't…

Amazing - Inexpensive - Fair - Reliable

Received a set of 6 pieces of 05 earth tones and am delighted with the colours. They always dry with the same consistency regardless of the pen used - and look great. Nice and clean matte finish, they almost look like mini brush strokes. I am amazed at how well the colors in this set harmonize. They are not overloaded or boring. They are good as additional tools. I think I will gradually add to my collection of these pens over the next year because the colors are so amazing and the price is…

Artist's Tool

These are ink pens or micro markers. They feel like the right tool for an architect, which I think means you feel like you need to have some sort of specialized knowledge to use them properly. I use them for a lab notebook and claim the archival quality they have. Sometimes I feel like the Pilot G-Tec-C Ultra Fine 0.4mm are better for me because they never bleed and require less skill to use properly. For example, the G-Tec C line always looks the same. The thickness of the Sakura Pigma Micron…
