The bookshelf arrived safely and on time. It's just perfect for my needs. My husband assembled it in record time without a single mistake or swear words. All parts were present including the Allen key. The whole experience was tikti boo! Highly recommended!

Looks great in the photos but my god are you kidding while assembling it?! Essentially, you get a box of sticks. I started but gave up. I don't have half a day to assemble what I thought was a simple table stand for my son. If so, it looks gorgeous in the manufacturer photos again!

Just arrived today! I ran to the mailbox and picked it up immediately. All the parts were there, plus an extra screw and even a screwdriver! The instructions were a little difficult to follow, none of the pieces of wood had instructions written on them, but I figured it out. All the details go well together. I look forward to taking this to work and getting my books on it!

This product was beautiful and looks very good. However, the tool used to assemble the shelf was of poor quality. As I screwed in the screws, the tool wore itself out to the point where it stopped working properly. I would buy another one of these because it's beautiful and basically easy to assemble, but I would definitely use my own tools.

Didn't understand it required assembly (despite the description saying it did - my fault) - it was easy enough but annoying (very cheap Allen key included). Due to the design with alternating slats holding it together, one size only has 2 slats at the bottom - one at the back and one in the middle - and therefore anything that fits on that side will not be fully supported and will fall off. Forward. Not sure how he even rates 3.7 stars.

I didn't like the instructions. They were unclear. The delivered parts were not fully manufactured. The product description is ridiculous. Finally, please read all reviews. I usually throw off a lot of negativity. But this device splits firewood. I drilled holes and super glued them to make the parts work. It's badly designed. I decided to keep it and make it work. I did not ask for an exchange as this has been a problem for me in the past. So if you're buying, have a drill and superglue handy.

We reorganized the kitchen and created the only space above the fridge that makes sense to store cookbooks. The only problem is that we live in an earthquake country, so unprotected books are definitely a danger there. I have this expandable bookshelf and am very happy with it. I'd be delighted if it were five inches lower as that would allow the larger cookbooks to be fully supported and displayed in line with the smaller ones, but at least our potential safety issue is adequately addressed.

This bookshelf was purchased to store cookbooks in my kitchen. The shelf is very light and I plan to be careful as the weight of the books can damage it. It's easy to assemble if you first go through the illustrations and decipher how and where everything goes, because all you get are little pictures. This is the thinnest and cheapest product I have ever bought! It's terrible. "Bamboo" is almost like thick cardboard or something. It's also coated in some sort of oily, waxy substance. I washed my hands immediately after the treatment. I also heard a loud cracking sound as the parts were carefully screwed together. Much to my dismay, the side panel was completely split. Before anyone thinks "operator error", it wasn't MY fault. I didn't even fully tighten the screws and was moving very slowly…
