Salifert AMPT Ammonia Test Kit Review

At least the Salifert kits can give zero unlike the Ammonia API kit which shows 0.25 even when there is no ammonia in the water. There really isn't anything bad to say about this kit, it works as advertised and the readings are what I expected.

This was a poor test kit. When a live fish shop did a water test after losing the number to fish and found the test kit was far away. This kit showed 0 ammonia, the LFS test and a test with another brand's test kit showed that the water level in my water was so high that my new fish had no chance of surviving. Salifert used to be the best thing you could buy, but that's no longer the case. Aside from the loss of the livestock, I don't even get my money back for the test kit.
