good for money

I use them several times a week for heavy bag work, sparring, pad work and exercises. Seems to be holding up well. I bought the 14 oz gloves and they are a little loose without bandages but they are ok. I'm a normal height guy. Another complaint is that they smell after a while, but that's probably normal also given my lack of maintenance. I've recently started using a sanitizing spray that is used on rented bowling shoes and it seems to be helping. Overall not bad for the money, especially for

Great Gloves - Boxing Gloves

This is a review of 16 ounce gloves. The gloves arrived in perfect condition, I fell in love with them as soon as I saw them let alone put them on. As soon as I put them on I noticed that they had an overall Fairtex feel. My wrist felt really supported. I did some light sparring with them and they did well, then I noticed that the "leather" on the gloves would easily tear flesh in the "more energetic" sparring sessions, so I have a feeling that it is more of a combat gauntlet than a sparring…

Professional quality at an average price 100%

I have been involved in mixed martial arts and punching for six years. I was close to trying these gloves as they are a newer company but I did my research and saw that big fighters like Michael Bisping swear by them. These are not large pocket gloves. So if you need a size up these gloves are not for you. This is a very comfortable and supportive Thai style compact sparring glove. So if you have small to medium sized hands 180" wraps will work for you, but if you have large hands or XL hands…

Absolutely no regrets!

Looks, design and overall comfort - these shin guards pack a punch! I already have a lot of Sanabul BJJ products so when I needed muay thai gear it was a no brainer. I also went for Battleforged Gloves and Shinguards. I didn't want to spend a lot of money or a small amount on gear so the BF line was perfect for me. I ordered 14 oz and they fit perfectly. The fisting liner covers my hands well enough that I don't have to worry about injury when punching. Straps fix the gloves comfortably and…

Not Quite a Fan - Boxing Gloves

I used to buy some stuff from Sanabul (their V.2 Gis staples are great value) and wanted to love them. The main plus is that they offer decent padding, the ankle area has decent padding so I think they might do for light bag/double bag work. However, the wrist support is almost nonexistent so I wouldn't recommend it for heavy bag work or anything like that and the airflow isn't great so I probably wouldn't even use it for bag training alone. . . If the aesthetics of your glove are important to…

Good value but just about okay

First of all for the price - it's quite amazing. You won't find a better glove for $50, period. Anything in this price range is going to be Everlast or Title crap that will break your hands and crumble to dust in a few months. That's it. If you're new (or cheap), buy these and don't think twice. But if you're a snob like me, read on. I bought these gloves a few months ago when I started training again. I figured out the price, worth trying and had good experience with other Sanabula stuff. Out…
