My original rubber rotted over time so the rubber came loose when using the grinder after a long break. I was so thankful that I found a replacement gasket and with a simple Phillips screwdriver the previous gasket came loose and the new one fitted. The velcro accepted my slices and we started sanding the wood again.

I was thinking of trying this replacement pad for my Porter Cable Sander. What mistake. Grinding wheels have stopped responding for a long time, couldn't even remove the grinder from the tree to keep the grinding wheel from flying off, wasting a lot of wheels. I haven't had a problem with a few bucks more Porter cable replacements in years. I'll stick with what I know!

Fits perfectly with my Porter Cable 222 sander. Also bought regular sandpaper from Revain, it sticks great and does the job well. It took me a few tries before my husband finally got this replacement tight enough. At first I thought it was tight but it wobbly and very wobbly. Tightened it up and now it works great. Fast installation. We had the right bit on hand and it helped in the end via the slotted screwdriver. Glad I saved $ and would buy again if it rotted like my last brand.
