I used it to prepare my car for painting. I used a 6" DA electric grinder. The grit was strong and durable. PSA worked great, I think there might be cheaper ways to grind the cars but this worked great, was quick and convenient.

This sandpaper lasts as long as the most famous paper. The glue is a bit slow to stick, which is both a good and bad thing - it moves slightly, but you have to press really hard for it to stick. After a few seconds of use, it sticks perfectly. I will buy again.

Attached to my cheap belt/disc sander. I use it for finishing metalwork in the manufacture of auto parts. It abraded, didn't snag on the metal or crack and stick to the grinding wheel, although I was too lazy to clean it. Overall it works as expected for a fraction of what I would pay at a local hardware store.

I sneeze, this lasts longer than the handle on these wheels. If you're sanding on a flat surface, there's a 50/50 chance the disc will stick. I once had a disc that stayed on for more than 60 seconds and I thought I might have discovered the secret formula that keeps it on until it was 65 seconds and the disc was unscrewed.

Update! I have used this sandpaper several times. I sprayed my notebook with light glue spray and now the paper sticks well. So if you buy this sandpaper I recommend a light spray of Locltite. If you don't, it will literally fly out of your head. Spraying my sanding pad with a light spray adhesive did the trick. The sand is great hence my upgrade rating of 4.

If I were to buy paper like this from an auto parts store or repair shop, it would cost me over $100. This paper is easy on the wallet and makes it easy to take the car apart. I bought this after another discount paper I had had trouble getting the fairing off a new body I ordered for an old Jeep I am restoring. I spent 10 hours with this crap. This material appeared in the Post and is CHANGING MY LIFE! Cut through that sticky foreign soil like it was nothing, the paper lasted a very long time…
