Measure your leg band. Serious.

Some may want one size up, some need two sizes up. Because? The leg band is not as elastic as the waist. While most people know their waist measurements, it's important to measure your hips as well. Take out the tape measure, sit down and measure your leg band 6 inches above the top of your knee pad. Check out my modified size chart based on my experience with the two sizes L and XL I bought. The lower limit is what fits snugly while cycling without flapping, and the upper limit is after you've

Great quality without being overpriced!

I'm 5ft 9in, 168lbs, medium build. After reading the reviews I bought the size L and they fit very well. I use them to prepare for triathlons and duathlons, usually around 24 miles. They are very comfortable, dry quickly, do not slip on the legs, the quality of the fabric and stitching is comparable to top brands (I have Pearl Izumi Select and I like them better). You look good too. On the back, near the waist, there is a mesh that allows sweat to evaporate faster. I liked them so much I now…

I don't understand the rating

I bought this based on customer reviews. After several wears, the quality is good, but apparently the padding is not sewn in the right place. I felt very uncomfortable getting up to spin. Finally I gave up; and bought another one from a very well known brand in the cycling world. It was a bit pricey but the fit is perfect. In addition, they offer a lifetime guarantee on all their products. I wouldn't say it's a waste of money. However, I would have preferred it better if not for the limited…

Great Fit Shorts

After spending some time riding in these shorts I've concluded that even on rides of around 2 hours or so (which is the longest I've traveled in bin) are really comfortable ). these shorts, I'm sure they're still comfortable after more than 3 hours of riding). I'm 6ft and 175lbs, the medium size fits perfectly. These shorts don't have a drawstring, but they still hold the legs very well without the need for adjustment. I've used them on my commute to work and they work great. The pad is just…

snug but well fitting, large seat pad but comfortable to ride

Update: I've added a picture of the cycling shorts inside out to show the very strong seat pad. Looking back I think I would have gone up a size but they still work well. *** I got these when my traditional padded suede-style cycling shorts broke. I'm 6'1", 160 lbs, 32" waist and tall. Definitely glad I went up the size as recommended! The shorts are still quite tight but they have a lot of elastane so are great for riding. The seat cushion is fairly prominent, thick and noticeable when…

Good cycling trousers

I cycle 23.5 km to work several times a week and cycle several thousand kilometers a year. I have found that good shorts are very important to avoid the hassles of normal riding. I have a pair of soft shorts with shorter legs and they were terribly chafing on my inner thighs. I find they work a lot better, partly because of the longer legs with rubbery material on the ends that hold their position better while riding. I won't be without these shorts for much longer. In summer I only wear…

Great shorts. I will order more.

As already mentioned, they are usually too small. I think I read somewhere that the sizing is based on Asian measurements. I would have ordered a large but I got a very large size and they fit well. The fringe around things is a little tight, but it helps keep bugs or dirt out. Pay attention to the washing instructions on the large label inside. I didn't, and tonight I noticed all the writing on the label was gone. I've only hand washed them so I have no idea what the usual care instructions…

Save your money and don't buy this one

I am writing this review with the ultimate goal of helping my cycling friends If you are a decent [or better] cyclist please save your money and buy this Not. If you are a beginner you can try them as you don't have any recommendations but be careful. Well, I consider myself a decent motherland with a few years in the sport. I've been doing structured indoor workouts at TrainRoad and zwift for the past few months to complement my outdoor rides and races. For this purpose, I usually wear my…

Good short for the money

(update) - it's been like this for about 3 years. Not sure if they changed the size as the size chart now looks different than when I originally ordered it. So the average size might actually fit the average figure right now, and now that I'm considering ordering another pair, I'm unsure of the size again. In any case, with the update I would like to say that the shorts have held up pretty darn well. In fact they are about the same as the first day I used them. These are my indoor training…
