I really wanted to like it. I really need a replacement trackball for my Logitech that became unstable after about a decade. This mouse would be perfect if the ball rolled smoothly. Update 8/19. The first set of Revain Basic AAA batteries just finished. Maybe turned off twice. So not quite 3 weeks at least 8 hours a day. update 2.8. Another thing that caused me to drop from "3.5" to 3.
