Best Friend on Resin Rollers

If you work with resin I would say you need it in your life. I used it to sculpt figures and build walls for silicone molds. Nothing had to be removed from the silicone, it's like a dream come true. The best part is that you can brush off any drips and easily reuse. I made dozens of shapes and figures out of the same quarter of the clay I bought and put the rest in airtight bags for later.

Pros
  • Hands Free
Cons
  • Fits

Perfect for sculpting

I make models and sculpt for shapes and this clay is just perfect! I needed clay that was easy to work with and that could be removed from a ceramic cast. Not only did this clay do it, but it was like new afterwards, allowing me to use it multiple times. (For those who don't know, ceramic casts take hours to dry and heat up as they harden, so this clay didn't just sit, it cooked.) I highly recommend this if you plan on doing any modeling.

Pros
  • glitter
Cons
  • thin

Ridiculously difficult to mold and shape! Feels like a brick.

I am a ceramist and was very excited to try this new clay but I was having a really difficult time sculpting anything as the clay was SUPER hard. I don't live in a cold place either. I need to use a heater next to my art table to soften the clay a bit. Even then the tone is still very harsh :( When I smack the tone on the table it literally sounds like a brick. But good thing my fingers don't get dirty I guess. Waste of money and practically useless tone..but the middle is still tight.

Pros
  • Positives Only
Cons
  • No Paint Required

High Tech Fast Modeling Clay

This clay is soft enough for oil based clay and heats up quickly with just the warmth of your hands so it may not be suitable for someone looking to create a large, create detailed models or intricate shapes. It quickly loses detail when pressed or placed on a flat surface. However, it's extremely powerful right out of the box and has a nice smooth texture that's very comfortable to use without warming up or extra heat. I bought it to make quick references for large sculptures and loved it from

I really do not recommend using this material for sculpting

I do not recommend this material for modeling as it is very sticky and very soft. It tends to stick to tools and leaves a lot of extra oil on your hands. However, I did not purchase this material as a sculpting material, I purchased this clay to use as a barrier to collect excess silicone rubber and protect my head when sculpting my fiberglass jacket. and for that purpose it is absolutely wonderful! it adheres very well to surfaces, it is soft and pliable enough that it does not need to be…

Pros
  • . Use it for floral arrangements, science projects, and more!
Cons
  • Expensive

Reliable water seal for leaks

My house was built in 1968 with concrete walls. At one point at the back of the house there is a recess in the wall at the top that during heavy rains water collects on the outside of the brick cornice that gallons run down the recess into the basement. your way down to the drain plate at the foot. But as long as the water doesn't go down, the water gets in. At first I thought of building a dam inside and then filling the cavity with epoxy concrete which should flow and adhere to the old…

Pros
  • Non-toxic; Meets ASTM D 4236
