Stay the course

They are so much better than the velcro only ones, they just fly off the mandrel at the slightest touch. Great product, works great.

Inexpensive but not cheap

Inexpensive. Roloc discs are perpendicular to the mandrel - there is no noticeable concentricity. However, as noted by many other reviews, abrasives wear out (or break) quickly. Expect to have to go through a lot of discs if the job is anything other than a quick fix.

Doesn't make shiny things shiny.

For the price I can't complain at all, they remove rust very quickly and if you are experienced enough you can leave a good finish with them. I work mostly with hardened steel so I go through them pretty quickly but they are put together well and have never fallen apart like some of the other brands I've used.

Not what I expected

Also small, holds the grinding wheels is ok but the grinding wheels are bad. You cannot distinguish between fine, medium and coarse. They are not marked. I've tried them on wood and metal. They don't wear away much material and are slick and useless in just a few minutes. I'm glad they were cheap. Otherwise I would feel really ripped off.

Received 36 pieces, not 46 pieces, quality product and very good customer service

Received 36 pieces, including Roloc cushions, not the specified 46 pieces: seven heavy RED, 14 RED, 12 blue, one roller disc, one Shaft, one nut = 36 total (7+14+12+1+1+1), not 46. Also, the parts were in the open box. The seller was very responsive in apologizing for the incomplete order and then refunding the money through many emails upon realizing that they were unable to complete the original order.

They work as advertised.

I use them to sand down rust, old paint and bad welds. I usually forget to order them and end up going to Autozone where they charge $15 for half that order and the pads they sell last a quarter longer than these. They cut very well, especially old paint, rust and bondo. . They also smooth welds, but traditional coarse grinding wheels are better. However, I'll spend a little more time welding than stopping what I'm doing to change pads. 5 star product.
