do you like hair Don't buy this junk.

I made a horrible mistake by purchasing the fastest available item. Well I can tell you that 10 minutes later I'm sitting here covered in tears and hair. I went to beauty school, I know what's going on and how to deal with it. I usually think it's my fault. Sometimes I'm overzealous, I know it. But I did everything right to avoid hair loss. 7 volume developer, 10 minute set time, over a week before reapplying and only on areas of my hair that needed touch up. And here we are. I've learned a…

Good for bleaching again

I used this with Developer 40 vol on my previously packaged blue black hair (level 2). I covered my hair in coconut oil about an hour before applying and let the bleach sit for about 50 minutes and my hair got 7/8ths. I then applied a purple hair mask to which I added a few drops of blue semi-permanent hair dye to reduce the orange tones I had. I will use this product again but would definitely recommend buying at least two packs if your hair is below shoulder length. Not only did I apply one…

As expected, I got more than 5 tones lighter!

Easy to use. I've never bleached my hair before, but I've had it colored both professionally and at home. My natural color is light brown, but most of my life I dye it dark brown/burgundy/red. I let my hair grow for about a year without coloring. I used Prism Lights bleach about halfway down the rod a few days ago but ran out (during quarantine) and decided to risk an unfamiliar brand. As I have coarse pre-treated hair I use 20 Volume Developer but you can use 20, 30 or 40 with it. I applied…

You get what you pay for

I was hoping for an inexpensive product for my whitening routine but will spend a few more dollars before using again. Did it work? Yes, he did a good job with the lighting, but the problems outweighed the benefits. First, the fumes are very caustic and I'm not sensitive to chemicals. I poured 1/4 of the mix, with the door open and the exhaust fan running, I was so out of breath I had to leave my room with every breath. Once it wore off, the whitening process was very slow even at 30 vol. It…

Best bleach I've ever used

One thing I want to stress is using Satin Creme Vol. 20 Developer and not another brand. This is of great importance. I have used this brand for many years and will continue to do so. The only bleach that makes my hair soft after bleaching. Before the image was blue I recolored it red to make it purple (about 6 months after I originally colored it). And I've colored red over pink (over a year and a half ago) and never faded between colors. After that the bleach removes the blue and red leaving…

Very good! best in bleaching

this is now my favorite bleach for my hair! While my dark brown hair needs at least one more session to reach the almost white color I'm looking for, this has lightened my hair to a light blonde color with very little (but still somewhat to be expected) brassiness. Quantity note: I have very, very short (undercut style) but thick hair and used just under one pack. If you also have short hair, plan on at least two packs.

Take two packs for a full head of hair.

I really liked this product and will definitely use it again if I ever need to lighten my hair again. I used this to remove the orange-brown residue from the dark brown/red color I used on my natural blonde hair for about a year. I spent months trying to remove the color with at home methods and stuck with orange brown when I found this. I followed the standard advice of starting in the middle of the shaft, then from the ends, then up through the hair, but avoided the roots as they grew out. I…

Looks like I've found my new favorite bleach!

I LOVE this thing! At around $2, it's an absolute bargain. According to the ingredients list, the product has a strange wheat smell, but after 10+ hair treatments I got used to bad smells. processed hair than other products. Because of the extra lift this product gives my hair, I was able to achieve my long-awaited silvery white mane MUCH faster and for a hell of a lot less dollars than I expected. Of course, if you're chasing platinum and dropping black (especially if it's a box color), you'll
