Description of Saw STANLEY SPT900

Reciprocating saw Stanley SPT900 900W. can be used for cutting not only wood, but also metal, plastic and a number of other materials. Copes with the processing of both fairly fragile and dense and durable surfaces. With the function of changing the depth of cut increases the service life of the saw blade. Light weight makes it easier to control the tool during operation. Rubber inserts on the handle provide a secure grip, which is why the hand does not slip during activity. Adjusting the sawing speed by pulling the trigger allows you to adjust the operating mode for a particular operation.

My money is wasted, the product is terrible.

Now I'm afraid for the Stanley impeller, God forbid it breaks. again, the service center will come up with something to blame you. Do not buy this saw for "professional work". And I do not advise you to contact the Jupiter Service Center on Moskovsky Prospekt in Hong Kong. Repairing the gear they said would cost 4600. This is even more than the price of the saw itself. ))))))

Cons
  • It is positioned as a professional, but in fact it is an ordinary household one, for working for a few seconds. It stopped working (it worked as described in the instructions, starting the saw and then bringing it to the material, plus I needed it for a long time trying not to press the start button, because it regulates the speed), I took it to a service center, they said the wear of the driven and driving gears due to for mechanical overload (not a warranty case). To the question: how?, "techie" really did not answer. Said you worked that way. He asked if the gears could have been of poor quality from the beginning ?, he said: yes, but we do not check them, you are to blame, you are not the first who comes to us with such a question. And he shows some piece of paper in which the text is printed, mechanical damage is not a warranty case. This is how it was necessary to work with a "professional" saw so that the gears wear out, if you turn it on and work at full power for a long time, then firstly it will start to heat up (all the same, torques and metal), and secondly, due to overheating, the motor may not withstand ( maybe in the eyes of a techie I'm an idiot, but not so much)
