Excellent for the price!

Just took my sample out of the electric kiln, the glaze had fired into a cone6. Half of the flowers came out BEAUTIFUL, opaque and rich in color. The rest, although pleasant colors, became transparent after three coats. I understand that these products are intended for schools, so I was pleasantly surprised with the result! I will definitely be buying more specific colors and have already told my studio mates to try.

Introducing Underwater Glaze

Now that I've had the chance to use Underwater Glaze, I can write a review. Some questions I had before buying them were: can they be used under clear glaze (yes) will the color flow (no) are they glossy (not matte) can they be used over colored glaze (yes and lines can "move" when your icing flows, I can draw symbols or write my name on cookieware, it's on fire, and it's permanent (yes)!

Pros
  • Glaze
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

In my opinion, they are ideal for beginners. I was on a tight budget so they were perfect! You get a good range at a good price. Each glass is a decent size. I didn't have many pieces, so I…
