Sayfine Vegetable Steamer Premium Stainless Review

I have used these vapers in the past; They are functional and easy to use. Sometimes I don't feel like taking out my big steamer, so I just put it on the bottom of the big pot and cook a few veggies at a time. Due to the short legs of this steamer, you can't pour too much water on the bottom of the pot, so keep an eye on the water level.

The photo says it all. It's garbage from somewhere. The pins on the bottom are NOT stainless steel. First use was for stewed potatoes... the pins turned black leaving a black ring in my pot and damaging the bottom. Even Friend Bartenders couldn't take it off. I can't tell why this thing has so many high reviews unless the manufacturer recently switched to cheaper metal. Will definitely not be using this again! It's back today and I'll be looking for it made in the USA.

I received this steamer basket today. When unpacking, I immediately noticed how sharp the metal edges of the "petals" are. I told my husband that we have to be very careful with him and especially with his laundry. The more I thought about it, the more I knew it was going to be a trip to the ER just waiting in the wings. The screws on the bottom of the steamer are large and I tried tightening them but they didn't move. notice how I put them in).
