My husband had no trouble installing them - the first install only took about 10 minutes as he was just learning how to do it. Please note that the dummy lever is only for one side of the door. So if your doors are identical to ours and you need a dummy lever (handle) on either side, please order two. Ordinary door handles naturally come with handles for both sides of the door. This particular purchase was made for dummy levers on cabinet doors. On their own they would be a 5 star purchase. They are indistinguishable from regular locks that we bought from local hardware stores.
