Surprise Find!: Door Hardware and Locks

My husband and I bought a mid-century modern home and all the upgrades that came with the 1950's home. The master bedroom has double doors and when it came time to replace the doors and hardware we knew we wanted to secure the right hand door with a dummy lever. Each Schlage Latitude lever costs about $35-$38, so the cost of replacing levers on 10+ doors quickly adds up. We thought we'd use a lever that we never intended to use on a fixed door just to achieve the look, but we were happy to find the exact same stub lever in the collection on the levers we've already purchased. and it was less than half the cost of a full service lever!
