I bought the Schlage Latitude series for my whole house and would highly recommend them, but this dummy is for doors that don't already have one had previously drilled a hole. When I ordered this I thought it would come with some sort of back plate to cover each hole (although when I took the time to go back and read it the description made it clear that the package contained 1 piece, so that was my fault). My house was built in 1964 and the previous owner put handles on the inside and outside of the air conditioner door, so I had to return this particular handle. I just wanted to save another customer the inconvenience (and $6 + postage) by saying that this won't work if your door already has a handle hole drilled.
