Works well but not useful for the rear bank closest to the firewall

This is not a tool fault but note that it is used to adjust the rear camshaft valve clearance on the rear bank in one 2004 Toyota Sienna is useless. , and I suspect many other Toyotas somehow don't fit. The firewall is too close as is the large wiring harness etc. I used this tool where it fit and a couple of flat head screwdrivers where it didn't. I first used this tool, when this tool didn't work I used 2 flat head screwdrivers - and too late I realized that using 2 screwdrivers is much…

So easy to use and worth every penny!

This review is for the Schley 88250 Valve Timing Tool. I have read several reviews that said this tool was of poor quality and difficult to use. This was NOT my experience. This product consists of two parts: valve bucket compression wrench and valve bucket holder. Both instruments are of very good quality. The wrench handles are strong and the metal jaws are smooth. Makes the job difficult

I bought this to do a valve adjustment on my '06 Sienna as the valve train was getting noisy and they haven't adjusted in over 270,000 years. Looks like the Toyota tool was discontinued and it looked similar if not the same. First, Sienna's presentation is a mix of good and nightmare. The front bench is directly in front of you, at a good working angle. Behind a nightmare. The engine is tilted backwards to get under the sloping hood and windshield and close to the firewall.
