I am using this to service the battery of a car that has been in the garage for a long time. The instructions are clear, the options work as described and my car starts without a hitch every time I need it. It wasn't used to start a 'dead battery', but to maintain the correct charge ('drop') it was fine.

This seems like a good charger but the listing says it fixes battery and charging issues. He won't do it directly; It indicates if the battery is bad, but doesn't check anything else. I would buy a different model if listed correctly. So if you just need a charger that also helps start the car then this will work.

Hope it works better than it arrived. I took the charger out of the box but there was no faceplate.
