Product DOES NOT match image

METAL hardware shown. Fasteners are PLASTIC. I needed it for soccer practice on Monday and now I'm in a bind. Dissatisfied!

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Generally OK, but...

Good chin strap best chin strap

Overall good product. I think the product is a little cheaply made and very noticeable, but the product worked this football season and that was important.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Negative impression

Best quality for helmets and headgear

Excellent quality. The only downside is your chin sweats profusely, I recommend putting some sort of sleeve over it to help with the sweat. Otherwise very high quality! I play semi-professional women's football and would definitely recommend it.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Socket required

Great protection and suitable for young people

Bought for my 6 year old twins. This is the first year of organised/contact football there. The chin straps are perfect for youth and both weigh 41 pounds each. Would recommend to anyone with young children. Protection is good, landing is excellent.

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • empty

Gold is not gold. ORANGE

Excellent quality chin strap. Same brand as my sons League helmets so we went with this one. Fits good. A little tricky to snap into place, but with a little elbow grease it's doable. However, because of the colors of his team, we ordered gold, but got orange. Be careful if color is important to you or your child.

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Repair

Great product for football

The chin strap buckles are not metal but plastic (the white buckles in the photo are the ones on the chin strap). When I bought the Riddell helmet it came with a white Riddell chin strap with metal buckles and I only replaced the buckles. I love it! Our team this year is the Longhorns so I'm really glad I found the orange chin strap! Yes, I know it's not exactly the color of burnt orange, but it's enough! High quality chin strap!

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • So far so good

This product was great! Fits perfectly and tightly

The product is excellent! Fits perfect and snug, very comfortable for my little midfielder! The only issue, which I didn't even feel necessary to deduct from the rating, was that it was extremely difficult to put my son's helmet on. We had other chin straps that were a bit "more comfortable to use" so it was shocking, I couldn't even help him put them on, we had to call the trainer every time and he had problems at times. But honestly, it's still worth the effort.

Pros
  • A practical thing
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Protects your chin from about 1 hit

Nice colored padded strap. It goes well with the Schutt helmet. Resizing was easy. Our 13 year old son had the only light contact with a gripper during week 3 of preseason practice and the straps just snapped like a hot knife through warm oil. We had a spare chin strap just in case, but we didn't think we'd need it until our first real game. This strap looks pretty massive, but you're probably better off buying a dozen cheaper straps for the same price. This item is best suited for players whoโ€ฆ
