Ideal for e-bikes

Ideal for e-bikes. These rollers are smooth and last and last. I used to get slabs of spikes and road debris about every two weeks. I ride 10 km every day. Not anymore with these tires. They are a bit heavier than regular tires but puncture protection is excellent. Changing a motorized tire can be a daunting roadside task.

Pros
  • Ideal for small households
Cons
  • Weight

I used to think tight slicks were cool.

28x1.75/700x45Specialized AWOL, full cases and fenders. I don't race. i'm not fast These tires fit perfectly. The heaviest tires I've ever had. The best tires I've ever had. They feel like automotive quality. People say they will slow you down. may be. I do not know. I still run at the same speed as the 700x23/25/28/32 slicks. The biggest difference is how much more comfortable I feel after the miles add up. Oh, and they reflect that kind of happiness.

Nice commuter tire good for tires

I bought these tires to replace 10 year old B00PUHTXSS Continental Comfort Contact tires that were beginning to eat up tubes. They roll just like the old tires (they were fantastically light rolls), maybe a little harder but it's hard to tell. after a few weeks they are as straight as possible. Note: These are directional tires. I had them both on the bike and in the back before realizing I had both back to front.

Pros
  • Pleasing
Cons
  • So far so good

Excellent tires so far. Not a single flat tire on my daily route, littered with broken glass. The nice wide width makes for a smooth and fast ride on rough roads and is much better on grass and gravel than the previous 28mm tires I've replaced. There is no noticeable reduction in speed compared to my thinner and lighter tires. Hypothetically, the additional weight primarily affects acceleration and not cruising speed. So as long as you're not racing, you're fine. I got a Marathon Plus HS 440…

Happy Happy Happy: Rubber

Fitted like a dream. There are no problems at all with installing from floppy disks. They are mostly uniform throughout the tire, without swelling or waviness. I bought these to replace almost brand new factory Specialized tires on my AWOL. The factory tires sucked so hard that I only had permanently flat tires at the front. No problems on the rim or in it. I really hope that these tires will solve this problem. Fingers crossed! ONE NOTE: After mounting the tires I rode short distances of 4 to…

Durable, comfortable tires for Houston's bumpy roads

After a few thousand miles on my bike's stock tires, they were worn to the bone and one of them broke. My riding style is touring/riding to work on the bike paths, trails and paths around Houston. Debris and potholes are fairly common, so I wanted something more permanent. I put in a few hundred miles on a new pair of these tires that I have on my bike and overall I'm very happy with them. They are a little heavier than my original tires and I can say it takes a little longer. attempt to fail…

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Requires an outlet

Schwalbe makes it again

I bought a pair of 28 x 1.75 Schwalbe Marathon Plus tires for my bike 350 miles ago and that's my opinion. Your results will of course vary. The tires fitted the rims very well for me and I inflated them to the correct pressure and test drove them. Rolling resistance was MUCH less than the factory tires I replaced and the ride was smoother. The response when accelerating into the corner was impressive, I didn't feel like the tires were slipping under me. I ride both city streets and paved bike…
