I have one for my bike and can commute to work even in the harsh Michigan winter. Works well on ice and gets through the mud. Plan to get a second front tire soon but on badly cleared roads/parking lots you can defiantly just get the rear tire to work but you have to be very careful in corners. The snow is over 2 inches and it's going to be very difficult to get through, at least on my Walmart bike.

I am very happy with the performance of these tires but extremely unhappy with their quality. I've ridden about 50 miles on almost clear ice and packed snow and have already lost at least 25 studs on my rear wheel. On the front wheel is less, but a lot.
