Love it! It's safe to say this is a solid bike. although after 5 months the plastic seat mount broke. I emailed some photos to Schwinn (googled their warranty info) and within 24 hours they checked it out and said I would see a new seat and bar mount on my doorstep next week. Our 3-year-old son drives it around our large yard every day. I can't ask for more from a children's bike or the manufacturer's guarantee!

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Easy to assemble - 15 minutes max - but you will need the recommended tools e.g. B. an appropriately sized wrench. Make sure the seat height is adjusted for your child. When a child is in the saddle, the heels should not touch the ground and the front toes of their boots should touch the ground slightly, as if standing on tiptoe. There are platforms on either side for little feet to rest on during the ride. My child loved it and soon learned to stand on it too. That's a great runner. Nice solid

Pros
  • The tool-free adjustable seat post makes finding a comfortable fit easy and has a finite lifespan as long as you own the bike
Cons
  • The list will go on.

After riding a balance bike, my 2y7mo rides a regular pedal bike. It works!

My kids (2 and 4) didn't ride this bike a single day. My 4 year old used it for 3 weeks then switched to a regular bike and mastered it in 3 days. Nobody could believe a four-year-old on a regular bike with no training wheels. Thanks to the runner. My 2.5 is now flying on a balance bike but not ready to pedal on a regular bike yet. Many neighbors and many friends bought balance bikes after seeing our kids. The stranger stopped and asked about it. I would choose the Schewnn brand over other…

Pros
  • Air-filled tires ensure a smooth ride, while lightweight magnetic wheels add style and sophistication.
Cons
  • Without automatic transmission.

Love the kickstand, but mine had a leaking rear wheel

This pink Schwinn 12" balance bike is cute - with a capital C! Easy to assemble, takes less than 10 minutes with a couple of wrenches and no need to look at the instructions. The rear tire leaked the first day after 20 minutes of very light riding indoors on the hardwood floor, but it only costs about $10 to fix at a local shop. I don't know if leaks are common or if I just pulled a short straw, but then again it costs about $10 to fix and should take less than 5 minutes if the store isn't too…

Pros
  • Lightweight, floor-to-floor steel frame is easy for young beginners to use
Cons
  • There's some nuance
