Why wasn't this fixed!?

This is a good harness until you get to the amp page. All 4 pins are in the wrong place. I had to move them all to get the amp to work. How about my car, if you don't research before you buy it won't work. How many returns has this item had due to incorrect PIN sequence? My mind is blown away by it. Thanks to the top review for posting the photo, otherwise I would still be at a loss and wondering what I did wrong.

Does what it promises.

Nice to have this. The blue wire to turn on the factory amp is in the wrong place. You should google and figure out how to move the pin to the right one. once i installed it. it sounds great! There's some hiss at low volume, but you won't notice it when music is playing. The sound is a bit quieter than the factory radio, but gets louder at high volumes. I read that cleanliness is better if you swap the RCA plugs. I will try soon.

Reattaching the wiring harness is not that difficult.

Apparently the smaller hanger, like all the others, is not attached properly. However, I bought a Metra amp bypass harness and wasn't happy with the sound, the stock tweeters and the lack of a factory subwoofer. Also, you need to run a long cable through the car. Replugging this wire was nothing compared to plugging in the amp's bypass harness only to find out it sounded awful! Once I put the strap back on everything was a breeze and sounds great!

More junk from Scosche

THIS COMES IN THE SAME PACKAGING AS THE HA10B EVEN THINK IT HAS COMPLETELY DIFFERENT WIRING. THE TEXT IS ACCURATE THAT THE HA10BAMP TURN ON WIRE IS IN THE WRONG JACK. You have to move it yourself. Scosche had known this for a long time but refused to fix it, instead letting his customers do it themselves. Nothing was marked except for a few wires. The RCA cables are unmarked. The packaging doesn't even mention RCA cables. You can't even go to their website to find schematics if you lost the…

Factory Incorrect

As others before me have noted, the wiring for this is incorrect. I was able to re-pin the connector but bypassed it entirely and made a splice after reading the schematics from the Honda, my head unit (JVC) and the steering wheel control adapter. I wrote briefly. Who sent me their wiring diagram and said there must be a difference between the EU and US models (not sure, I don't care. For reference, my car is an American '06 Civic si). Two stars only for learning how to connect connectors…

Definitely don't buy it (yet)

Oh what a big disappointment! As mentioned in the previous poster, none of this is true. The main suspension is fine, but the smaller one is a serious problem. No exit was in the right place. I thought this would solve all my problems, but I was dead wrong. After turning on my stereo with no sound due to the amp's "on" signal wire being in the wrong place, I quickly discovered that the AUX port was also incorrectly connected to the wiring harness. This is a huge QA issue @Scosche. Unfortunately

How to make pins new.

The review showing how this should be wired is correct, people will have trouble removing the tiny pins. To remove mine I used a small cotter pin because they have a flat surface that fits snugly into the removal slot on the connector. You simply straighten the cotter pin and press the slot until the plug comes out with ease, then proceed to the correct slot as stated by another reviewer. Cotter pins are very inexpensive at any dealership, or you can use a flat pin that fits in the slot. The…
