I also bought a 7 x 6.3 x 3.9 inch android radio. It did not fit. The description lists the overall dimensions of the item but not the maximum supported double din receiver size.

While this is the correct aftermarket stereo insert for the first generation Mazda5, despite the product claims, it does NOT match the interior color (at least not on my 2010!). The metal parts of my interior are a darker silver color, almost tin. Brushed aluminum, much lighter than pictured.

Looks original. People think it's the original bezel that came with the car. Luckily for me, my walkie-talkie fit perfectly in the hole less than a millimeter from the bottom. I've covered the tiny gap with black tape behind the gap and I can even see it. It matches perfectly with the controls of the air conditioning and perfectly matches the color of the rest of the interior. Grest product at a great price. Ease of installation.

Overall rating 4 stars because the silver color is a little lighter/lighter than the factory color and the corners of the device are not exactly the same radius as the factory one, making it very tight to land in Corners where it aligns with the underside of the center console. In general I am very satisfied. This is a quality piece, very strong, with a strong clip on connection and fits the dashboard very well. Once installed it looks OEM and I'm very happy to have a nifty OEM dual din head…
