Fits perfectly in the original stereo when removed. Allows the installation of a double DIN stereo system, e.g. B.ATOTO A6. This bracket fits all screw holes and mounting points and supports the dashboard clock and alarm button. Looks good but is made of much thinner plastic than the OEM stereo mount.

Fits well; looks good. Make sure you transfer the clips from your old faceplate. The only thing I didn't like was the 3 piece design. The brackets must engage the faceplate with something other than a straight tab. Mounting the bezel and brackets around the main unit was unnecessarily cumbersome as the brackets popped out. Improved prefabrication would mitigate this disappointment.

Works great! The black color looks much better than the factory gray and blends in perfectly with the air vents. Once installed, it is very durable. I have a 2006 4-door PreRunner SR5 with JBL Audio and installed a Pioneer AppRadio 4 with Pac Audio. It was a little inconvenient to tuck all the wiring behind the main unit, but that was the fault of the wiring harness, not the Scosche hardware. Would buy again! Feels like a new truck!

bought this after trying another popular brand. This one is better because the radio attaches to an adapter where the other reuses the factory brackets and you have to bend them to fit the adapter. The problem with re-using factory mounts is that even when properly adjusted they will rattle or vibrate as the main unit and adapter are not fixed and simply fit together. With the clips you need and the OEM clips it tells you not to break normally so I would go with these to make life easier

We bought a black version to match our 2006 Toyota Tacoma. We used factory steel stereo mounts to secure the Alpine double din head unit to the dash. The watch and hazard switch snapped into place and fitted well. You will need to remove the factory clips from the factory stereo/faceplate to reinstall this replacement to the dash top of the aftermarket stereo. I would say this is the biggest piece of junk I have ever bought except the first gray one that arrived looked like a fake baby ferris wheel dashboard, I actually bought another one. scrap ever bought. and did so within a few days of each other. To be honest, I'm ashamed. Why would anyone create a product that replaces sturdy metal brackets with something like melted picnic paraphernalia, glued together with expletives and sheer willpower not to use on a table saw?
