Beautiful piece of quality leather

Beautiful piece of leather for needlework. It can only be something more. Although I've used it for several things. One is a hood strap for my mesh grill that prevents me from burning my hand when reaching the lids.

Pros

Cons
  • sad packaging

Firm, flexible skin.

As a natural product, each piece of leather is unique in some way. The product comes wrapped in brown paper which provides adequate protection for this material. This matt surface leather absorbs glue better than tool leather, which tends to tear more easily due to its lower permeability. It is easy to work with, and applying mink oil to the finished product gives a pleasant shine. I have used it to make Kydex lined knife sheaths and am very happy with the results.

Pros
  • Leathercraft
Cons
  • Socket required

Pros
  • Leather strips, shapes and cuts
Cons
  • Some mistakes

It had significant discoloration (not that good looking "natural" or "colorful" appearance that real leather tends to have) and a small dent that I was afraid would tear further, and unfortunately it was damage so big. This crowbar will not work for my purposes. (It also had a few scuffs, but no more than what would have happened with handling and would have happened when I first started using leather, so that didn't bother me.) I called the…
