Great solution for installing modern technology in my old car.

Very impressed with this mirror. I love that it fits over your existing mirror - there are two different lengths of elastic that you can use to fit your existing car mirror. I routed the cable through the headliner and then under the dash to the power source I wanted to use. The power cord was long enough for a large SUV/truck. This rear camera is much larger than I expected.

I installed this backup camera on my F250 truck and 30" trailer. I was able to get a second camera and longer cables to accommodate my setup. send them separately from China, but they got here faster than I thought (1 week). I installed one of the cameras on the back of my truck under the license plate. It connects to a monitor at the top that runs over the existing rear-view mirror. I use this setup when I'm not towing my trailer or to drive to my trailer and line up on my hitch. I then unplug

I installed this item in a 2016 Ford Escape partly for the perceived safety of recording potential collisions and the like and to use the backup camera as a permanent replacement for the rear view mirror. This device fulfills these wishes well enough for my purposes with limitations. Here's my breakdown: 1) Easy to install. Tying him to a mirror obviously speaks for itself.
