Amazing sports mask

The best mask I have ever used. I've only used clear silicone lenses so far, but they offer clearer vision and less side flare. However, being a diver (obviously) makes you look a little scarier.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Safety

great all round mask

Excellent field of vision, nicely finished, low profile, very good seal (I have a narrow face). I haven't tried a mask that I liked better than this one, even twice the price. The field of view is excellent. I like the black version as it reduces reflection underwater.

Pros
  • Comfortable
Cons
  • Very expensive

Divers with thousands of dives call it a technology mask

I've tried many other masks. If you have laugh lines or chubby cheeks, this mask will seal others very much. For convenience, this is the best. I bought a second one to take with me when diving.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Minor issues

Leaks like a sieve, fogging up uncontrollably

Leaks less than a foot of water under the nose. I thought it was because I have a beard and mustache so I shaved them all with the same result. No matter how tight I tighten the straps, this mask leaks under my nose in less than a foot of water. I also don't know what silicone coating the manufacturer uses, but I wiped the lens at least a dozen times to reduce fogging. there is no difference.

  • Handy item
Cons

Great mustache mask!

This is a great mask if you have a mustache. When tech divers like it, there's usually a reason for it. The difference is that the mask not only rests on its flat skirt to fit snugly on the face, but also has a rib at the bottom edge that creates a snug fit, especially under the nose and along the cheekbones. This is the first mask I've tried that doesn't bleed through. It really suits your face. As with all masks, your mileage may vary as no two faces are the same. But as for me, I wouldn't…

  • Ideal for a small home

Still one of the best

I had this mask many years ago. I lost it over the side of the boat. This was the best mask I have ever used. I bought it to replace the VU, everything was fine, but recently my head above my eyes started to hurt. I also have another brand's mask which is very comfortable but I would rank it slightly below this mask. Perhaps by preference, but this mask offers excellent vision and when cleaned with toothpaste and of course saliva right before diving, this mask rarely fogged up on me. Getting…

Good for freediving. Bad for diving.

I bought a frameless mask for scuba diving in 1996 and was very disappointed. This mask has a very low profile and allows your regulator's bubbles to float in front of your eyes where the larger volume mask sits farther from your face and the bubbles tend to hit the bottom of the mask and the sides to float up. As said, this mask has a very low profile and offers unparalleled vision thanks to a single lens placed very close to your face. Extremely comfortable and durable. I fitted my old pair…

Fogging problem New condition

I love diving with these Scubapro frameless goggles, but I had a serious fogging problem on the first 3 dives I've done with them. I am an experienced diver with over 80 completed dives. I know how to prep a mask so it doesn't fog up. Every method I tried with this mask was unsuccessful on my first few dives. I washed the mask with dish soap before use. Just before my first dive, I sprayed the inside of the mask with a popular snorkel anti-fog agent and quickly rinsed the mask off. I noticed…
