SE 82615MD Speed Steel Drill Review

Smaller drill bits, not sharpened. I have attached photos of this product and another product that is properly sharpened. The bad one has a flat tip while the good one has a conical one. I had to believe the one star reviews. Good news! You can definitely return this item. All you have to do is call customer service. Pickup is not enabled for this item.

I make jewelry. I bought them to drill small holes in soft metals like silver and copper. I use Rio Grande's Burlife lube and still I can't drill more than 1 or 2 holes in 20 gauge soft metal before the drill bit becomes so dull it's almost impossible to drill it. I bought this and a larger set from the same manufacturer. Both drills have the same problem. A shame. I think cheap drills are really cheap. Good point: They fit a multi-chuck Dremel flex shaft.

Two drill bits that should be 0.35 and 0.40 can hardly be called a drill bit except that they have a flute. Both have a flat tip. The drill marked .03 is actually .35 in diameter (and has a tip), and the drill marked .35 is actually .44 in diameter. There is no .30 drill in the pack. 0.45 and 0.50 seem fine. I did not test the other drills for accuracy as I primarily needed the .30 - .50 sizes. This item is non-refundable. I cannot recommend this product.
