Virtually useless.

I didn't expect industrial use, but I didn't expect it to be so fragile that it cannot be used. The slider is so cheaply made that it cannot be used to mark and hold a measurement. Both he and the ruler buckle in his shirt pocket at the slightest movement.

Pros
  • Robust construction
Cons
  • Quality

Works well, looks cheap

It is a handy item but has sharp edges which makes it uncomfortable to hold. I had a similar ruler with half as many markings on one side and I personally find it a lot easier to read and more appropriate for what I do.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Sliding mark is a pain

Bought this item to measure the distance between my Ford truck's camshaft and the camshaft shift levers. Easy to read and accurate, but positioning and moving the slider is not very easy as it catches and gallops from side to side. In the end he did what I needed and went to the tool box.

Pros
  • everything is fine!
Cons
  • Don't remember

A small lack of an inexpensive tool and the seller fixed it immediately.

The pocket clip was too tight and the tabs broke when I tried to loosen them. I left a message to the seller and the seller immediately sent a new kit that worked fine. An inexpensive measuring tool that won't bring me tears when I inevitably lose it. Good salesman.

Pros
  • Solid build
Cons
  • Not bad

Excellent work! for rulers

These are the perfect tools for me when I need to tune my guitars. First, the measurement starts at the end of the ruler. You can also slide the flat side of the clamp down to the size you want, which gives you a much better view when looking at the underside of the strings. The bonus is that they come in a flexible plastic sleeve perfect for hanging on a perforated board. Perfect! Excellent work.

Pros
  • Top marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • I won't say anything

They're good but too sharp

These are pretty good stainless steel rulers perfect for cooking utensils. I've used them quite often. The only thing to note is that they are spicy. Don't be surprised if you cut yourself while using it, but don't worry. I am happy with the product and would buy again if needed and you should get it if that is your question.

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • No

OK for the cheap price.

Precision machined although edges are still sharp with minimal deburring. The slider's teeth are roughly curved and don't slide as easily as one of my old rulers. I have to bend carefully to attach properly. The SAE ruler is actually only labeled with 1/32 inch resolution on both edges. However, there is a 1/2 inch section in the middle marked 1/64 inch. with one step. The only numeric markings on the ruler are the whole inch markings for the SAE ruler and the 10mm markings for the metric…

Pros
  • (1) SAE ruler and (1) metric ruler
Cons
  • uncertain

Depth stop is poorly made and useless

This is an engineer/locksmith line. The pocket clip on this type of ruler is essential for taking and transferring accurate measurements. The clip on this ruler is useless. Looks like someone bent it to fit with pliers. The depth gauge should slide easily and be exactly 90 degrees to the ruler. On this he flops by plus or minus 20 degrees. I bought a similar Johnson line from another seller. While Johnson isn't perfect, he's three times better than this one. With the Johnson, the clip slides…

Pros
  • Inch to millimeter conversion chart on back
Cons
  • Poor instructions

No larger than minimum size for 6 " ruler

Many years ago I was given a 6" SAE stainless steel ruler by my father after I enrolled in drawing art class 101 in high school would have. He was a draftsman and he always had rulers, stencils etc around the house when I was growing up and all my siblings learned to draw when they were little. Years after I got this incredibly useful ruler, it was lost when moving from Europe. I've been looking for a replacement for almost a dozen years and still haven't found it as useful as the line it gave…

Pros
  • Pocket clips (can also be used as markers)
Cons
  • Disappear
