Disturbed like paperweights or even chopsticks as scissors

Blade bent in the middle and not aligned, possibly from shipping. i am tailor In addition, the blades are quite bulky from the shank to the tip. It would be tolerable if they were lighter and really carved. Paper is almost never cut. The blades themselves are very thick and blunt to cut about 1/8". I'm really shocked they even sent them in my photos. I'll compare my good black scissors so you can see the difference.

Pros
  • Sharp edge
Cons
  • Not bad

SE - Tailor's Scissors Heavy Duty 12 " - SC63H

I really like this product. Looks and feels very solid, good quality materials and workmanship. Extremely sharp and easily cuts heavy to heavy very thin silky fabrics. It can be used for various household needs and tailoring. A bit heavy in hands so hand support is required when working with these scissors. The only problem I have with very soft and thin materials or fabrics is, that the scissors are very sharp and pointed, which can pull and pinch the fabric.Generally I am very satisfied with…

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • No Instructions

Hmm, what can I say about these monsters? I have a good pair of tailor's scissors, but I decided to buy a second pair of tailor's scissors as I sometimes give basic sewing classes to others. They seemed like a good price. However, when they arrived, these scissors were so terrible, not to mention bulky, that they were, quite frankly, a bit intimidating to look at. Also, trying to "file" lightweight fabrics or organza is the same as bringing a chainsaw to them. To be honest these scissors have…

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions

  • No show

The first few inches were sharp, the rest weren't.

For our Micro Maltese I cut the "PP" dog pads in half with scissors. All the other scissors I've used have had no problems, except they had blades so short I had to make 4-5 cuts per pad. If you use these large scissors, the first 2 1/2 inches or so will cut well. The balance made the blades close, but the material didn't cut. I've seen comments about how some people found them uncomfortable on the hand. I have to agree I used them for about 5 minutes and it got a little sore. I think it would…

Pros
  • Easy setup
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
