Works well but has some quirks

The pylon is not as tall as some of the others we have had. It works well but is a little wobbly, maybe it could be done better. The feed mechanism is also not blocked. It goes down when you press it, which is sometimes convenient, but sometimes it can surprise you. Overall it works and works well, but I like the old style better.

Pros
  • Waterski and tow
Cons
  • Upgradeable

The rod does not engage the latch

The part is installed exactly according to the instructions on the BRP website and the second pylon does not fully engage. First off, this is an odd design as the latch is held in place by a rubber band. So if the rubber band stretches or doesn't have enough tension, the latch will not fully engage. Here's what's going on with my block. I have houses in my boat now and am hoping this is just a defective item that I received. Updated when a new block appears

Pros
  • Wakeboarding
Cons
  • There are nuances
