ammonia crisis? Buy this.

Great product. Definitely the best ammonia treatment. Why? Because it doesn't just restore ammonia to its less toxic form like most treatments do. AmGuard binds it to neutralize the toxic effects of the ammonia, but allows your filter's bacteria to use it and multiply - the only way out of the ammonia crisis. If you reduce ammonia to its less toxic form, not only will your filter not be able to use it, but you will increase the pH of your aquarium, which can kill your fish just as easily as…

Not suitable for aquarium water treatment

I have a serious ammonia problem - in fact I have removed everything from the tank including the fish and substrate and cleaned the substrate and everything in the tank. The fish was in a 5 gallon bucket with an air stone. I was hoping to get rid of all the dirt in the substrate, get rid of hundreds of snails and lower the ammonia from a dangerously high 2ppm. It took over 5 hours. Before adding the fish I measured the ammonia level and it showed 1.0ppm - how can that be? I added Amguard before

SAVE MY TANK, act now!

Unfortunately, the biofiltration in my planted aquarium is overloaded and too many fish are added/overfed/overcleaned at once. I thought the existing filter would handle it, but phew, big cloud one day.
