Both the quality and shape make it the best carbon fiber for reef aquariums. I've tried so many but I think this is the best. it's in a fluidized bed reactor.

We use this in our turtle tank. We have 2 turtles that are just over a silver dollar and this charcoal keeps the tank from getting smelly and makes the water very clear. I like the round shape and the granules are very consistent in size. This is a very high quality product. HAVE FUN.

I have been using this product for many years. I really like the little charcoal balls. Their water purification ability seems better and lasts longer than other brands. It smokes a little when it gets in the water and gives off some dust so I recommend rinsing it in a bag. An aquarium filter must contain activated carbon. It captures invisible organic compounds, even small molecules. For this reason, it is important to remove it from the filter when adding the medicine to the water.
