Warning, the product description is misleading!

According to the product description, it fits all Honda outboard motors but not my 130hp Honda. When I came back they charged a 20% restocking fee. This is wrong, they falsely advertised and then blamed me for their mistake! Warning when ordering this product!

Be very careful with this seller. The part is not well made and the seller does not endorse this product. The item was defective and I was charged a 20% restocking fee because I forgot to return the $0.03 O-ring. The seller also states that the fault was caused by sand, although I flushed it and reinstalled the element on the engine, but it still discharged while driving. If you work in the sounds of North Carolina, you know you have to look for sand. live and learn The part will not connect to

Average watersports solution

This product is a stupid solution even for a dumber Mercury design. The threaded part is too long, sticks out behind the motor and looks silly on my 2014 Merc 90. In addition, the structure of the part inside the motor is connected with a rubber bushing that has the strength of jelly. I had to remove the cover twice and (quite difficult) reinstall the part in the engine compartment. I then prepared the strain relief on the outside of the motor with a hose fitting (which I had to cut with a…
