My laptop is LENOVO Legion Y520 The regular hard drive became small, and I decided to make a small upgrade on the occasion of the new year. I chose for a long time, I was looking for a model that would take the place of the factory one, and did not miss! With simple manipulations, I made a substitution, and the disk works! size 1v1, the noise level is minimal (it can be said identical to the factory one) the read speed is the same as that of the installed SSD.

The drive arrived earlier than expected and was packaged well. The drive was an OEM model and is therefore NOT covered by the Seagate Data Recovery 5 year warranty OR the 2 year warranty that comes standard with the retail version. The disc works fine on my PS4 and hasn't had any issues so far. A hard drive is good as long as you know in advance it's OEM.

I've had mine for about 2 years now and it's still good. Keep in mind that this isn't SSD speed, but it's still incredibly FAST. And for the price it's great. Just remember that if you need a hard drive with the speed of an SSD, you should go for an SSD hybrid drive. Apart from its excellent, durable and fairly fast hard drive. Best for laptops, desktops and my PS4.

This is an incredible steal. For just $60, you get an amazing drive that's even better with an SSD. Unfortunately they sent me a bag of cat food beforehand so I'm deducting 1 star for the amazon's stupidity. My friend was kind enough to give me his replacement part (which is exactly the same as this one, I checked). This drive is ideal for gamers, students and workers. Unless Revane sends you a bag of cat food. Then it's only good for the cat.

I was looking for a new hard drive and my old one broke. I wish it was a 2TB hard drive but it's 1TB and I wish it was 2TB in the future. At $62 and 128MB cache this really boosts download speeds, it boots in 14 seconds on Windows 7 and I'm surprised the performance is almost SSD-like. I would recommend to anyone looking to buy if you are on a budget of around $64. It's worth it. The warranty is valid when I check the Seagate website. Revain is well packaged to protect it.

I bought a 2TB hard drive, even six months later it stopped working, contacted Seagate who was not helpful at all. My gaming console was slow so I bought this product to see if it would help speed it up and it did, but I'm afraid if it breaks I will try again to get help from the customer service department .
