I am hoping to edit this review tomorrow when the replacement parts arrive but 2 of the 3 purchased so far have resulted in a major failure. I know that crashes usually come in batches, so I'm really hoping I just caught a bad batch. I'm running a large ZFS disk array with a mix of Seagate and WD and a Seagate (bought a month before the other two) and all WD's work great. While one Seagate drive failed completely, the other produced over 500 read/write errors each in the first few hours of data

I bought this hard drive with hope in my eyes. When I received this CD I immediately opened the box like a child celebrating their first Christmas with their new foster family. It looked like a fake barbie - I didn't know not to worry until I started playing with her. I connected the floppy drive to my super bright computer and opened the BIOS. It was as empty as my mailbox on Valentine's Day. There was confusion because in the 20 years that I've been building computers this has never happened.
