3+ days after my Time Machine backup (about 2TB) started copying, the copying process is still ongoing. When the copy finally failed, it said "2 hours left". I immediately rebooted and here I am 7 days after it all started and it says '2 days left'. Incidentally, this new drive was purchased to replace another drive that was taken out of service after a catastrophic failure in which all data was lost. That drive was Seagate. So disappointed.

I needed more storage as I am a music producer and my old 1TB external USB 3.0 drive was running out of space. So far this drive works fine on my Mac and Windows computers. No problem. I hope it stays that way. Two controversial points for me are the following: 1. A bit noisy when working. I've had other drives that were definitely quieter.2. Everything is fine with the case, but I would like it to be more durable. Having said that I would buy it again for this money and maybe buy another one…
