Good lock but it should be an extra lock. Don't think that a thief cannot break this lock or that it is very strong. See for example the attached picture of a thief trying to steal my bike.

This is a great seat but unfortunately I couldn't use it on my bike because I have an electric battery that's blocking it, otherwise I'd love to be able to use it.

Comfortable seat. Compared to my road bike seat, which was a flat fabric bike seat ($100 seat), this was quite comfortable. This now makes the bike heavier and raises the bike saddle 4 inches. So don't buy it if you can't already lower the seat 4 inches. The Bosnian bill can't pick the lock, so that's a big plus for me.

I wanted this seat to please, but just couldn't get used to the loose feel of the brackets. Each rivet has play (movement) that allows the mount to unfold and be used as a locking device. So you're sitting on a few rivets, and the build-up causes too much movement to feel comfortable and secure. You'll feel like you're on a swing, the seat swinging under your butt as you peddle.

A few years ago I attended the launch of this line on Kickstarter. When I replaced my bicycle with a touring bike this year, I ordered this product at the same time. I've been riding it for three months now and it's just as good as the original. I bike a lot around town in San Francisco and also ride on weekends. It's especially helpful to be able to lock my bike in downtown San Francisco and not have to worry about losing my seat (which has happened to other bikes over the years).

If you can use a wrench, you can install this seat. Check out the video I attached to my review. Love the ease of use of this lock, I used a regular chain which was cumbersome and rattled while driving. This combination seat lock ensures a smooth ride. It's also very durable! Good idea but takes work to execute. I love the idea of always having a bike lock and not having to worry about locking the seat (because the seat is a lock). There are no instructions on how to do this, but it's easy to find out. I mounted mine on a Thudbuster seatpost and was hoping to use the locking seat to secure the front wheel.
